I can’t be the only person who’s noticed the complete about-turn in the establishment’s treatment of Kamala Harris as soon as Joe Dementia Biden mercifully withdrew his candidacy and Kamala the Anointed (by the woke faithful), was lifted to the exalted status of presidential candidate, on account of immutable characteristics, like bloodline (she has the mixture of all the right racial strains that the woke faithful consider a necessity) and gender, not to mention a youthfulness and energy, that her opponent no longer possesses.
Not gonna lie, I was sure, that Trump would wipe the floor with the spent force, that is Joe Biden, but compared to Harris, he is looking old, tired and out-of-touch. Polls are currently still favouring the Republican candidate, by a very small margin, but it’s really anybody’s guess on election day, who will actually win.
What we can be sure of, is that the establishment and the wokerati want Kamala to win and Donald to lose, very badly. They will do everything in their power to make that happen and will stop short of nothing. All this is pretty straightforward, but it actually occurred to me to bring a bit of woo-woo into this race by looking at some of the fringe theories surrounding Kamala Harris, not in any serious manner, but more as a bit of fun. What I’m interested in, is whom, or what force Kamala represents, at least on the face of it. I’m not saying any of this is real, but we can have a bit of fun looking at Kamala’s hidden (beyond the veil) associations.
First off, I am not claiming, that Kamala was brought up in the Hindu tradition or was handed down any particular lineage through her family. We don’t know which sect her mother follows or if she feels particularly connected to any specific tradition or deity. However, what I am claiming, is that our names, our family backgrounds, the faith of our ancestors matter and it signifies something in the collective subconscious in terms of what makes a person who they are.
Kamala is a Christian, and a Baptist, a faith she took up as part of her activism in the service of African-American causes, which isn’t part of her heritage (She is White, Tamil and Afro-Caribbean in about equal measures), but an identity she adopted as a person of colour, living on the American mainland. We know that her Hindu mother took her on trips to Tamil Nadu, in South India, which is incidentally also where I partly grew up. During these trips, she visited Hindu temples and partook in religious ceremonies. As a result, she wasn’t brought up in any particular faith, in the strictest sense of the word, but was exposed to an eclectic mixture of them. She ultimately chose Christianity, for her own reasons (probably a good idea if you live in the United States and want to blend in), but sometimes our religious and spiritual identities are shaped by forces unseen, in the beyond, in ways we cannot even begin to understand.
I want to look at the imprint of her Hindu heritage and see how that might have impacted her life path, current convictions and her political journey. I want to look at her namesake, the Goddess Kamala first.
Here is a classical depiction of Maa (Mother) Kamala, a tantric Goddess, who is known as the supreme manifestation of Shakti, the Great Goddess of Hinduism:
Tantric Goddess Kamala
The image is a bit low-res, however, doesn’t this depiction share some resemblance with our Kamala, the one anointed by the Democratic Party?
I had a hell of a time finding a serious photo of her (she shows her trademark laugh or smile in almost all of them), but I can certainly see a facial resemblance. Other depictions of the Goddess don’t look like her, but this particular one seems to be the most popular out there and is the first result in google. Rather Ironic, that she is being showered (anointed) by four elephants, the symbol of the Republican Party, don’t you think?
In Hinduism, goddess Kamala is one of the ten Mahavidyas, chief deities within the Tantric tradition, which is an occult or mystical strain and school of thought. I wrote about Tantra and the Left- and Right-Hand Path traditions within it previously, worth checking out if you want to understand the context.
From our point of view, the important thing is, that Kamala is like the supreme Goddess within that tradition, the highest form of the Mahavidyas. She is the Goddess of power, wealth and prosperity, hence why it is a pretty popular girl’s name. Giving your girl that name shows that you have certain expectations of her, you would like her to be wealthy and powerful. In the Hindu tradition, names matter a great deal, just saying the name of a deity once, can have profound effects, but saying it repeatedly, with love and devotion creates an invisible link between the person saying it, the person by that name and the deity herself.
This is a primary reason why polytheists like to name their children after deities, whereas in monotheism this is strictly forbidden. Even monotheists know, that saying the name of a deity out loud has magical properties, creating a link to the god or goddess in question, hence why it is forbidden to say God’s name out loud according to the ten commandments. It is to avoid practicing lesser magick, even inadvertently and thus besmirching His name.
Kamala may be Christian, but her mother naming her after a Goddess creates a link between the two, even if she’d be completely unaware of it, but every time somebody calls her by her name, the link would be further strengthened. The link would be such, that the person so named would start resembling the deity in many ways, becoming more and more like her as time passes. The highest form of Tantric Practice is called Deity Yoga, which aims at becoming one with the deity and embodying her in her entirety, so much so that the person becomes indistinguishable from her. Very few people can achieve that, it is considered a great miracle and a rare occurrence indeed, but such people are seen as avatars, basically, living embodiments of the deity they have completely merged with. Most followers of Tantra or Shaktism can never hope to get that far, yet many at least aim to become somewhat like the chief deity they worship. In Tantra, the devotee is usually chosen by the deity and not vice versa, often based on general compatibility, in the vibrational-energetic sense (a chief component of esoteric Hindu practices), one aspect of this would be the person’s name, which will heavily influence their spiritual destiny.
Regarding the Goddess Kamala, I found the below two images, associated with her worship pretty interesting:
Goddess Kamala Yantra
Goddess Kamala Mantra
A Yantra is like a sigil. In essence, it is the two-dimensional representation of the multi-dimensional vibratory essence of the deity. By looking at or meditating on a yantra with intent, the devotee connects to and aligns with the deity, becoming more like them. A mantra does the same through sound.
The Yantra above contains a six-pointed star, which, while an important Jewish symbol, is also relevant in Hinduism. It’s called the Star of Vishnu and represents the union of opposites. In Western Occultism the Star of David plays the same purpose and is represented by the esoteric principle of “As above, so below”. In the chakra system of yoga and tantra, it is the heart centre.
The second image, a visual representation of the Goddess Mantra, contains a Swastika, which represents the gut, the chakra which is located in the solar plexus, the one below the heart. It is a symbol of power, which is why it is used in connection with Goddess Kamala, who is the Goddess of Power. Its association with power is also why the Nazis were so enamoured with it, though their version of the Swastika is very different and is an inversion of the original symbol.
Does this mean anything in the political sense?
Maybe not, though given that most people who vote for her will be Christians, perhaps this should be more widely known. I would also wager, that given her heritage and name, unseen forces will be compelled to assist her in her quest to the white house, unbeknownst even to her. It would be a mistake to underestimate, how much effect this will have on the race.
The Mahavidyas are all about female empowerment. In the founding text of Shaktism, a major sect of Hinduism, which concentrates on worshipping the Goddess in her many forms, we encounter powerless male gods who cannot defeat a major incursion of evil into their realm. The text is known as the Devi Mahatmya and is foundational to the idea of Shakti, the creative force in the universe, as expressed by the Divine Feminine. In this text, each male god expresses their power to fight and defeat evil, by manifesting a female form of themselves, a group of Goddesses, that are seen as the Shakti, the active and creative aspect of each god. In Hinduism, it is the female form of God that fights and defeats evil, as the male aspect is seen as passive and contemplative, far away from the troubles of the created world. It is the female aspect of the divine, that takes an interest in human affairs and empowers the devotee to act and win in any context, be it martial or political in nature.
For instance, as William Dalrymple notes in his book, the Age of Kali, Indian politicians frequently get tantric priests to perform animal sacrifices on their behalf (a goat is the preferred sacrifice), in the hope of winning elections. This is not to say that Kamala is involved in anything like that, I’m simply using that example to demonstrate that an election is commonly seen as a race that can be influenced through the intercession of a Goddess or any entity, really.
Notwithstanding, that Kamala herself is a self-professed Christian, looking at American society at large, if someone is in any way involved with witchcraft, who are they likely to vote for and perhaps even assist in unseen ways? Female empowerment is a huge theme in modern Western Witchcraft and the prospect of getting the first female president into the white house must be irresistible. Trump is seen as a representative of the patriarchy, an old white male with ostensibly conservative values (only by their standards, really), flip-flopping on abortion, which is a red line for any feminist, whereas Kamala is a multi-racial, multi-ethnic and possibly multi-religious, but in any case multi-cultural woman, who in the past has been for any sort of woke cause you can think of. Defund the Police? Absolutely. Black lives matter rioting, open borders, gender pronouns, genital mutilation of children, you name it, she’s on record for supporting it.
We should all take a step back and in knowledge of all of the above, look at her with fresh eyes.
Kamala is a diversity VP, who was elevated into that office primarily as a reward for her race and sex, something that the current president readily admitted, when picking her. She was an absolute non-entity, completely invisible to the public and did essentially nothing of note for four years. When she did run for the presidency herself, she won zero delegates and was obliterated on her record in debates with the likes of Tulsi Gabbard.
Now, that she has been elevated to the position of presidential candidate with zero achievements to her name as Vice President, and with zero democratic process, we must really marvel at the spectacle of her Apotheosis. A complete non-entity, disliked by most even on the Democratic side, she has suddenly come to represent everything the far-left stands for. An empty canvas, so to speak, onto which everyone can project their favourite woke pet cause. Name it and she’s for it, or will be on record, for having supported it.
I don’t live in the U.S. and I rarely, if ever, watch TV, but even I have noticed the suddenly gushing tones and reverence with which she is treated, by the entire establishment, including never-Trump Republicans. In that sense, that popular image of Goddess Kamala I started this post with, anointed into power by four elephants, looks like a prophecy about how she might get elected, on the back of and through the support of never-Trump republicans. I sincerely hope, that I’m wrong, however, I can’t fail but see the symbolism in all of this and worry about the long-term implications of her election, not just in the material, but also spiritual sense.
It is articles, like the one below (peak Guardian x 1000) that make me worry about the future and wonder where all of this is headed and what sinister agenda might drive it:
The Week in Patriarchy Christianity (holy fuck! my emphasis)
The Satanic Temple is taking on the Christian right. It’s fun to watch
“ Recognized as a religion by the IRS, the group uses the religious right’s tactics, and their victories, against them

Satan is a feminist now
The devil works hard, but the Republican party works harder. Not a day seems to go by without anti-abortion zealots on the right advancing some cunning new plan to strip women of their bodily autonomy. As well as shutting down abortion clinics, Republican states are trying to essentially outlaw abortion pills: on Friday, Missouri, Kansas and Idaho renewed a legal push to drastically reduce access to mifepristone.
Amid this hellscape, help may be at hand from a somewhat unlikely source: Satan. Or, to be more accurate – and since the devil is in the details – the Satanic Temple.
Founded in 2012, the Satanic Temple (which is not to be confused with the very different Church of Satan) is not about devil worship. Rather, it is about raising hell to fight for freedom from the religious right’s crusade to impose their beliefs on everyone else. “Right now, we have a minority religious theocratic movement, so entrenched in politics and getting away with whatever they want,” co-founder Lucien Greaves told the Guardian earlier this year.
Recognized as a religion by the IRS, the Satanic Temple uses the religious right’s tactics, and their victories, against them. When a Ten Commandments monument was erected at the Oklahoma state capitol in 2012, for example, the temple submitted an application to put a 7ft-tall statue depicting Satan as Baphomet, a goat-headed figure with horns, alongside it. In its application, it argued that the decision to have a Ten Commandments monument paved the way for satanic representation. (They weren’t the only ones protesting: the satirical Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster also requested a monument.) In the end, the Ten Commandments statue was removed by order of the state’s supreme court and the Horned One did not get immortalized in Oklahoma.
Over the years, the Satanic Temple has taken on issues like prayer in the classroom, after-class Bible study groups, and the distribution of Bibles in schools. Now, for obvious reasons, it’s increasingly turning its not-so-evil eye to abortion rights. Last year, it opened an online abortion clinic in New Mexico called The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic, in reference to the conservative justice who wrote the majority opinion that overturned Roe v Wade. “In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother did not have options, and look what happened,” Malcolm Jarry, co-founder of the Satanic Temple said at the time.
As with its other causes, the Satanic Temple brands abortion as a core part of its religious beliefs. Women are asked to recite a ritual (“By my body, my blood, by my will, it is done”) before taking abortion pills to ward off “unjust persecution”. The temple has also sued states that have banned abortion, arguing that abortion is a religious rite for their congregation and that denying them access to these ritual abortions would be a constitutional violation.
All of this has had the desired effect of driving the satanists’ adversaries bonkers. The Christian Research Institute, an evangelical group, described the group as “troll lords” and said they were “exploiting their cartoonishly dark and villainous branding to agitate the public and pester the Christian Right into a judicial showdown”.
That showdown may be forthcoming because the Satanic Temple has just opened its second telehealth abortion clinic, this time in Virginia. It’s called the Right to Your Life Satanic Abortion Clinic. “We’re also actively working to increase access in other states, including taking legal action in restrictive states such as Indiana and Idaho to provide religious abortion services there as well,” the temple said in a statement. Truly, they are doing the Lord’s work. “

I’m sure most rational people will say, that this is just trolling and the Satanic Temple has no connection to the actual Satan. Similar claims are made about the Church of Satan, which is seen by many as just “edgy” and rebellious. However, most of the readers of this newsletter are more discerning and will know better. Of particular note is the obsession this group has with abortion and elevating it to the level of a religious sacrament or ritual. How is this not about child sacrifice, especially in many liberal U.S. states, where late-term abortions are legal? You’ll have to answer that yourself, but I think we can all agree, there’s more to this, than meets the eye.
Fascinating. Great work, Chris!
